love the Sunbanks Festival

In London with the great Mississippi MacDonald

In Madrid with blues master Tonky

My mentor Isaac Scott. A great guitarist and vocalist. . Tony Thomas in the background. Miss you both. Just riding to the gig is the most fun I ever had....not to mention the music.

Backing up Joe Houston Bumbershoot '87. I have no idea why I was playing an orange guitar. Joe and Jr. Wells had a hell of a party in the motorhome...

With the great Hubert Sumlin--we were conferencing on the upcoming set at the Mt. Baker Blues Festival. Hubert had such a unique style, I am so proud to have played with him.

House of Blues Bumbershoot show. It was a nationwide broadcast, we sold a lot of CDs that day! Photo by Tom Hunnewell

Fun times in Amsterdam Just went to coffee shops on days off. Honest. We played 14 clubs in Holland and Belgium.

At the great Banana Peel Club in Ruiselede, Belgium. Gourmet food, packed house, what more could you ask for?. Belgians know their blues, beer, and good times, that's for sure..

A killer set with Isaac Scott at Bumbershoot. You can't see Ric Howell on the drums, but I can still hear him.

Tel Aviv, Israel with the great Dani Latani. Dani is the most popular musician in Israel for good reason. He is great songwriting and a driver of social change. He took me to after hours clubs in the Arab quarter and showed me the time of my life--and peace in the Middle East. Here I am live at the Camelot Club with their fantastic house band.

Tel Aviv live at the Habima theatre.

Pinetop Perkins. He was recovering from a traffic accident, said he ran a railroad crossing in his car trying to get to McDonalds and was hit by a train. Such a beautiful dude..he was still living a full, active life in his '90s.
